The Department of Neuroscience at the College of the Holy Cross, inaugurated in fall 2026, invites applications for two full-time tenure-track positions to begin in August 2027.

• One of these positions will be at the assistant professor level;

• the other may be at the assistant professor or associate professor level (without tenure).

 

We welcome research in any area of neuroscience, and value programs that may cross traditional disciplinary boundaries and span multiple levels of analysis. The neuroscience curriculum emphasizes integrative and inclusive pedagogical approaches and accessibility for all students. We seek candidates who can contribute to the goals of the neuroscience curriculum through collaborative teaching of the introductory course and expansion of core offerings in keeping with integrative STEM education. We are especially interested in candidates who can help advance current departmental priorities to incorporate critical/decolonial perspectives and neuroinformatics/computing approaches throughout the curriculum. All Neuroscience Department faculty are expected to contribute to introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses across the neuroscience curriculum.
